I haven't progressed much beyond the facebook stage described to me early on by George Yatchisin, that of being prompted to recognize and acknowledge and then to actually tolerate the ravings of my every hick-assed second cousin three times removed.

ReplyDeleteNah. I haven't linked to this joint over there yet, and I doubt I will. While I still find the place an enormous waste of time, it can a pretty effective way to communicate (at times) with people. I've enjoyed the "chat" element and have had a few really nice instances of catching up with old friends from way back. (FWIW, I tried to find you and G by scrolling through George's friend list. He's got about 1000. I saw Generik's name--he uses his real one at Flicker, but I couldn't figure out who you were. Glad you "friended" me. I have a feeling we would probably hit it off in the real world, too.)

ReplyDeleteNever got back to you on this. I really liked the opener. Listened to their album, fun and loud. Not sure it's great music, but it evokes a certain mood.
